Burma is where China, India and Thailand
meet, neighborhood by neighborhood.

We're a family of Burmese-rooted restaurants and bars across the Bay Area — eight rooms, one kitchen, and a slightly different kind of welcome at every door. Each location takes its own shape, tuned to the neighborhood around it, but the warmth (and the recipes) come from the same place.
Since 1992, we've been cooking the bold, layered flavors of Burma — a country where China meets India — for our neighbors here in the Bay. Monsoon-rich curries. Hand-pulled platha. And lahpet, the fermented tea leaf salad once shared as a peace offering, now passed across our tables every night. Every dish carries a story; we'd love to tell you a few while you eat.
Come curious. Leave full. Come back hungry — we've always got a seat saved for you.
Read our storyEvery brand under the Burma Food Group's umbrella is simply its own small world — a different neighborhood, a different palette, a different way of welcoming you to our home. We don't claim to have it all figured out. We just hope you'll find a Burma door that feels right to you, your friends and family.
Each space is shaped by its setting, with its own kitchen and pace of service. Find hours, parking, reservations, and online ordering for every location.
We've been lucky enough to receive much endorsement from the San Francisco Bay Area media and beyond. Over the years, local and national outlets have kindly featured our restaurants — for the unique Burmese food, for the warm hospitality, and the communities we're grateful to be a part of.
We bring our kitchens beyond the restaurant — offering curated menus, and full-service catering for a range of events. Our work includes corporate dining, private celebrations, and community gatherings across the Bay Area.
